Executive Creative Director
Paulo Areas joined TBWA\RAAD in November 2022, as its Executive Creative Director, to lead the creative output across the agency’s clients and brands in the region.
Paulo’s extensive creative leadership and expertise stems from the different key roles he occupied in different agencies and continents: Paulo was the Chief Creative Officer and a partner in the UK-based innovative agency ForeverBeta, Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy Madrid and Executive Creative Director at Cheil Iberia and Lola MullenLowe Spain. He also worked as a Creative Director with Leo Burnett in Brazil, Lisbon, and Spain for many years.
Throughout the years, Paulo has acquired a good understanding of different cultures and has led on global brands across different markets, such as Jeep, Chrysler, Magnum Ice cream, Unilever, Chesterfield, Iberia, Ford, Fiat, Heineken, etc.
Paulo was part of many global creative councils and owns a collection of trophies that he earned from every International creative festival (Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Creative Circle UK, Epica, Clio Awards, One Show, D&AD, Effies, ADC, El Ojo and more).
Paulo has a huge interest in innovation, technology, business culture and transformation and is a curious creative, a relentless leader and a father to three amazing girls.
